Day 1 is extremely road-intensive. Whether you choose the Nashik or Aurangabad circuit, you must drive from Pune to the circuit, complete the entire circuit, and then drive to Shirdi. This requires an extremely early flight arrival at Pune Airport (PNQ), ideally by 6:00 AM - 7:00 AM, to make the itinerary feasible.

Why is reaching Pune Airport 2 hours before departure on Day 2 a requirement?

Day 2 involves sightseeing stops at Renuka Mata, Shani Shingnapur, and Mahaganpathy Temple on the drive back from Shirdi to Pune (a 4-5 hour drive without stops). The 2-hour buffer is mandatory to account for time spent at these temples and any unexpected traffic delays, ensuring you do not miss your scheduled flight.
