What is the dress code for Mathura temples?

Mandatory: Traditional and modest Indian attire is highly encouraged inside sacred sanctums like Krishna Janma Bhoomi.

For Men: Dhoti/Kurta, Pyjamas, or a full-length formal shirt and trousers. Shorts and sleeveless vests are strictly prohibited.

For Women: Saree, Salwar-Kameez with a dupatta, or a long skirt that covers the knees. Sleeveless tops and crop-tops are not permitted.

Are mobile phones allowed inside the monuments?

Taj Mahal: Mobile phones are allowed inside the complex, but must be kept on silent. However, photography is strictly prohibited inside the main mausoleum.

Mathura Temples: For security reasons, most temples in Mathura (including Krishna Janma Bhoomi) prohibit cell phones and cameras. You must leave them in your vehicle or use the secure cloakrooms/lockers provided outside the temple gates.

Strict Security: The security check is similar to an airport. The following are banned: Tripods, drones, camera stabilizers, headphones, chargers, tobacco/lighters, and food items.

Is the Taj Mahal open every day?

No. The Taj Mahal is strictly closed on Fridays for public viewing. This itinerary is scheduled to ensure you visit on a regular operating day.

Can infants travel on this package?

How long does the Darshan in Mathura take?

On average, Darshan at Krishna Janma Bhoomi takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour. However, timings may fluctuate during morning and evening Aarti sessions when the crowds are significantly larger.

Are there long walks involved?

Agra: Moderate walking is required from the parking zone to the Taj Mahal entrance (approx. 500 meters) and inside the Agra Fort. Battery-operated shuttles are available to bypass the road walk.

Mathura: Temple complexes involve some walking on paved paths. We suggest wearing comfortable, easy-to-remove footwear (like slip-ons) as you will need to leave your shoes at the designated stalls outside.
