No. Like the major pilgrimage temples, mobile phones and cameras are restricted inside the main Akshardham complex to maintain sanctity. Photography is allowed at the Sabarmati Ashram and Atal Bridge.

On regular days, Darshan at Dwarka and Somnath usually takes 30 to 45 minutes. However, during festivals like Janmashtami or Shivratri, waiting times can increase significantly.

What is the dress code for Dwarka and Somnath Temples?

Mandatory: Traditional and modest Indian attire is strictly required inside the inner sanctums.

For Men: Dhoti/Kurta or a formal shirt and trousers. Shorts and sleeveless t-shirts are strictly prohibited. At some specific rituals, men may be required to remove their upper garment.

For Women: Saree with a blouse, Salwar Kameez with a dupatta, or a traditional long skirt. Short skirts and sleeveless tops are not allowed.
